Oh the Steak was delicious. Hope I can find my photos. Great food and great staff for someone from chicago

Abousulty love this place a must for any taco lover. Wide variety of different tacos, you can choose your protein, staff has great suggestions on that if you aren't sure. Very friendly staff that worked great together food came out hot and delicious. The Tai basil taco with shrimp will make you dream of it for the next couple days. I had that one and the Florida with shrimp, probably go with the pulled pork next time on that one, something about pork and pineapple sounds good. I seriously almost got another Tai basil to go definitely in my top 5 of all the places I've been too.

My Girlfriend and I visit Taco Shack religiously. I say this because we are there literally once a week. I will say some of the servers aren’t always the best, however there are a few good ones. The food is top of the line. It is so good we haven’t even gotten a chance to go to their new establishment called, “Stack:Burger & Bourbon Restaurant”. I will say we always order the Three Amigos Large which comes with chips, salsa, queso, & guacamole. If it is happy hour we’ll even throw in the chicken empanadas! We have recently tried the carne asada fries with chipotle crema and peppers added. It was very good! Our normal go to tacos are: Gingro Beef, The Royal, The Club, The Sticky, Firecracker Shrimp, & Da Philly. For the dessert do not and I mean do not miss out on the cookie ice cream taco!!! Last but not least the Cocktails. 1. Mangonda-Frozen: has to be my least favorite because of the spice and tamarind straw. 2.Coco-Loco: is a beautiful presentation with a coconut cup that gives a nice tropical vibe in addition coconut flakes on the rim. 3. Lychee Me: On the sweeter side, presented in a plain glass cup. But is savory and enjoyable. 4. Cadillac: A great Tequila drink presented seems very little for the glass it’s served in maybe ask for less ice. 5. Corona-Rita: This drink is by far the best. A Tequila with a salt rim. In addition a small corona to the list. This drink will surely get you going. Two of these during happy hour you ought to be close to home from this place or eat more to sober up. This one packs a punch. Really all you need is one to start and finish with your food. It is the best! Last comment you may want to get there a little earlier before 6-7 because parking may vary. There’s not much room to offer.

This is a small little taco place It's kind of a bit hard to find but it is significantly worth the effort The staff is exquisite the atmosphere is great and everybody is polite and helpful and kind

We were headed to the Lyric Theatre and needed dinner. Googled Taco Shack and expected a dive. No way, the place is a gem. A restored building with glorious food and drinks await. Happy Hour every day, too. Get your Burrito WET!

My family has eaten here several times and the food is is consistently pretty good. They have a huge variety of tacos and other items to eat. Their chips are fresh and have to be made in house. The first picture is the 3 street tacos meal. They are pretty small tacos, but filling. The sides were street corn and Thai brussel sprouts. Middle picture is chips and salsa (I ate a few before I took the picture). The last picture has a Thai brussel taco (my wife’s favorite here).

The pork belly tacos were delicious. My partner had three different tacos with avacado salad and Mexican sweet corn. We both had a drink, I, a beer and my partner, a wonderful sangria. The out door seating was comfortable and there is abundant parking.

Hands down the best tacos I have had in a long time!! I really love the atmosphere and the service is great. Our waitress Brooke was very attentive and gave us great recommendations. Overall I had a great experience!
